2007 ???

Where were we?  What did we do?

Was it a year when we switched from fall to spring?

Joanne and Jeanne joined Anne at the Telluride Film Festival.  Jeanne volunteered at it.

2006 Harrisonburg, Virginia

We flew east to stay at Barbra's home in Harrisonburg.

She had carefully prepared jams and foods to make hosting us easier after her recovery from her brain injury in 2003.

We hiked in Shenandoah National Park--so beautiful in the fall!

Jeanne and Joanne didn't make it to Virginia.

2005 Catalina

We stayed at Joanne's house and then took the ferry to Santa Catalina Island.

2004 Hawaii

In May we flew to Kauai and stayed on a western beach.

We kayaked up a river and then walked through mud to a waterfall.  We made wishes at the waterfall.

We took a catamaran cruise around toward the Nopali Cliffs.

Barbra was only one year past her car accident and having major memory issues as a result of the head trauma.



In June, EEWC met in Claremont for its 30th anniversary with Anne as the conference coordinator.

May 2003 Napa Valley at Gary's house (second visit)

We met at the home of Gary Erickson (Loie's friend) in Anguin near Napa Valley, California.

We had been planning to meet at Gary's home in North Lake Tahoe, but we got snowed out.

As a result, we ended up back at his home near Napa Valley.

Loie was working on the book with Gary, which was published as Raising the Bar.

Barbra's car accident and brain injury had just occurred on April 28, 2003, so she couldn't be with us.
