October 2023 Seattle

We met near Jeanne's new residence south of SeaTac. 

We were missing Barbra.

2022 Palm Springs on a golf course

 Six of us or five of us? only 3 nights.  Delightful.

2021 - October 15-17 in Newport Beach

 Sharon invited us to her brother Mark's home. Anne, Karen, Jeanne, and Loie were there. Joanne had just had hip replacement surgery so was not present. 

Earlier that year in April, Jeanne and I were going to fly to Mazatlan but didn't make it. Instead we had a visit at my house and then her sister's house in Northridge. We went to Easter Sunday church together in Northridge, April 17, 2021.

2019 - Oct. 17-21 in Ventura CA

 Barbra was with us.             

The house had a few electrical problems.

Looking forward to September 21-24 in La Jolla

Wonderful that Kris has made her home available to us for a date that works for all of us.  Good to see the cats being herded into plane reservations and such.

Now praying for good health for everyone...

2016 Lopez Island

SW7 went to the Northwest for the first time, end of September 2016.

2015 South Tahoe

We met at a house on Marla Bay in Zephyr Cove, Glenbrook, Nevada, just east of Stateline NV and South Lake Tahoe CA.

Everyone present except Karen, who is in Nairobi, Kenya.  Anne and Joanne arrived at Sharon's house in Sacramento on Thursday evening and drove up together on Friday morning.

Loie and Barbra drove from Loie's house on Friday morning.  

We all ate at Edgewood Golf Course and then came out to the house.

Jeanne joined us on Saturday afternoon after a bout with passing kidney stones.

We spent a couple of hours Saturday evening remembering past gatherings, then went to online blog to get dates more accurately.  

Common elements of SW7 gatherings:

• good food
• unconditional love
• adventures

Sharon claims title of Most Terrible Bitch over the years.  Reasons for her claim to this title are not clear, but she says there are three reasons:

• Ice - Mexico 
• Complaints over use of technology during our time together (Palm Springs? earlier?)
• Issues over being present when present and sharing (not falling asleep during someone's share),

Now reflecting on aging... again.
